The Second Queen's County Regiment of Militia, No. 4 Company was stationed in Pownal, Lot 49, Prince Edward Island. In 1867-1868, the commanding officer was Alexander M. McRae.

This fonds consists of a muster roll and a weekly diary of drills, both dated 1867, as well as an enrollment return and attendance at drill form, dated 1868, of the No. 4 Company of the Second Queen's County Militia. Information documented in these papers includes the rank and names of the members, their ages, the date they took the oath of allegiance, the numbers of hours drilled, how far they lived from the drills, the reasons they might not have attended drills, and general remarks.
