This fonds well-documents the minutes of the Student Council and contains a considerable proportion of correspondence, most arising from various committees and from Dalhousie Student Union presidents and managers.
The Student Union Council records contain minutes and reports covering almost one century (1899-1994) of student government at Dalhousie.

Dalhousie University, No.7 "Overseas" Stationary Hospital fonds
The fonds consists of a booklet on the history of the Stationary Hospital, the correspondence of nursing matron Laura Hubley, a book of signatures belonging to members of the unit, a small album containing postcards from Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper (who worked with the Dalhousie Unit in 1916 and 1917), and correspondence and photos from Sgt. Tupper to Ralph Kane.

Five photographs contain images of the Beatty schoolhouse and students. Historically important images include a photograph of Governor General Vincent Massey's visit to Melfort, Saskatchewan in 1955. The photographs were scanned ca. 2003 at 300 dpi with 16 million colours.
