The collection contains four scanned copies of black and white photographs of the Queen's Park school and students, and are believed to have been originally taken during the 1930s.

The collection contains one mounted black and white photograph of Melfort High School students in 1926.

This fonds well-documents the minutes of the Student Council and contains a considerable proportion of correspondence, most arising from various committees and from Dalhousie Student Union presidents and managers.

The Student Union Council records contain minutes and reports covering almost one century (1899-1994) of student government at Dalhousie.

As well, activities of the following units (spanning various years, mostly within the 1960s and 1970s) are included, though the records are not comprehensive: Academic Planning Committee, Advisory Council on Athletics, Alcohol and Drug Awareness Committee, Amateur Athletic Club, Association of Student Councils, Association of Students with Disabilities, Canadian University Travel Service, Dalhousie Student Entertainment Committee, Halifax Student Housing Society, Saga Food Services, Science Society, Yearbook (1971 only), Young Men's Christian Association of Dalhousie College.

The fonds consists of a booklet on the history of the Stationary Hospital, the correspondence of nursing matron Laura Hubley, a book of signatures belonging to members of the unit, a small album containing postcards from Sgt. A. Fraser Tupper (who worked with the Dalhousie Unit in 1916 and 1917), and correspondence and photos from Sgt. Tupper to Ralph Kane.

The fonds contains one framed black and white photograph of the Melfort Public School and students of May of 1926.

File contains an essay titled, "Nova Scotia Government Employees Association" written by Chris Bailey for submission to Gregory Kealey. The essay is about the history of the Nova Scotia Government Employees Association.

Fonds contains one black and white photograph from approximately 1954. The photograph depicts 7 students in front of the Rothwell school. This was one of the last years the school was open. Gerald Fawcett is featured within the photograph.

The collection contains scanned copies of black and white photographs belonging to Florence Bohn. The original dates for the photographs range from 1955 to 1960. Five photographs contain images of the Beatty schoolhouse and students. Historically important images include a photograph of Governor General Vincent Massey's visit to Melfort, Saskatchewan in 1955. The photographs were scanned ca. 2003 at 300 dpi with 16 million colours.

Item is a notebook Chipman used during law school. It contains notes on shipping lectures by Richard Weldon, Dean of the Law School.

Fonds consists of examination papers from medical school as well as paraphenalia from his academic years at Dalhousie University.
