Created by James McNicol. Inherited by his daughter Jean Landry. Ovide Landry in turn inherited the photograph album from his wife. At some point he lent the photograph album to Thomas Hicks who cut out the extant photographs and labelled them. He returned the remounted photographs to Ovide Landry
Scope and content
Fonds consists of 12 photographs of James McNicol's friends in the area of Blackfalds, Alberta. Included are photographs of members of the Dr. Thomas Roger Hicks family

Includes one cyanotype photograph. The photographs had been removed from an album and remounted on cards with labelling by Thomas H. Hicks, in some cases directly on the rectos of the photographs
