The fonds may have been left in the family home at 10404 125 ST, Edmonton AB, when the creators' widow left it, ca. 1966. The home appears to have been demolished, ca. 1968.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of materials created by William C. The fonds consists of accounting and other records created by William C. Marshall. It includes personal and business correspondence, financial records, account books, tax notices, real estate information, programs and photographs. Business records include the records of Lee and Marshall, Great West Land Co. Ltd., Smith Bros. Ltd., Beaver Securities Co. Ltd. and Jasper Forest Sawmills Company Limited, as well as an investment partnership, H.R. Smith - T.G. Ashbaugh.
