Biographical history
William McKay Wright was born in Renfrew, Ontario, on November 27th, 1890. He entered Osgoode Hall Law School in 1913, but discontinued his studies in 1915 to serve overseas with the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He resumed his training at the Inns of Court at the conclusion of the war. Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1919, he subsequently established a practice in Windsor, Ontario. Wright died in Windsor on May 18th, 1975.
