Biographical history

William Charles Noble, 1941-2009, was educated as an archaeologist at the University of Toronto and the University of Calgary. He worked on the excavation of Rocky Mountain House in Alberta, and later taught anthropology and archaeology at McMaster University. He was an authority on the history and pre-history of the Neutral Nation of Ontario. He first married Jean M. Slater and later Jackie Crerar. He had two children, Elizabeth M. and Gordon William, 1969-1988; and two step-children, Maxwell Colyer and Catherine Young.
