Subsequent to Mr. Bates' death, George Gooderham, who lived in the Bates' home at 732-13 Ave. S.W., Calgary, gave Bates' records to the Glenbow.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of architectural plans for approximately 100 buildings, and correspondence, specifications, contracts, tenders and account book related to his architectural work.
