Fonds consists of minutes, financial records, correspondence, newspaper clippings, membership lists, and biographical/historical sketches that were used in the local history produced by the Willow Creek Historical Association. The fonds also includes recordings capturing reminiscences of pioneers of the Willow Creek area recorded by the Willow Creek Historical Association in 1970.

Immediate source of acquisition
Mrs. E. Mohr, secretary of the Willow Creek Historical Association, deposited accession PR1976.0445 in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1976, and Ms. Islay Pelletier, treasurer of the Willow Creek Historical Association, deposited accession PR1988.0495 in 1988. The records of both accessions were deposited in the Provincial Archives of Alberta on permanent loan, and in 2002, Mr. Jim Mouser, president of the Willow Creek Historical Association, gifted the records to the Provincial Archives of Alberta.
