Fonds consists of two minute books of the Auxiliary. Minutes include lists of executive committee members, and recorded some activities performed during meetings (eg. packing clothing to be sent to Red Cross headquarters for overseas relief), and occasionally notes local soldiers who were killed or wounded. Also included in minute books are lists of letters sent and received by the Auxiliary and some newspaper clippings regarding activities of Liverpool soldiers.

Fonds consists of postcards and souvenirs from France, Egypt and Turkey, hospital supply lists, passport and travel documents, telegrams, orders, personal correspondence, Harvard BEF Association Newsletters, appointment papers, and copies of attestations of Ferguson's place and time of birth. The records all relate to her time abroad during World War I with the British Expeditionary Force and the Red Cross.
