Biographical history
Frank Wood was a coal miner at the No. 1 Mine in Nanaimo. He married Thelma Harwood on April 19, 1927 in Nanaimo. Frank Wood died on June 12, 1979.
Custodial history
Accident fund booklet was donated to the Nanaimo District Museum in an undocumented transaction and transferred to the Nanaimo Community Archives in 1993. The photographs were donated to the Archives by the Wood's daughter, Kathleen Saunders, in 2000.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of Frank Wood's account book for the Western Fuel Corporation's Employees Sick and Accident Fund and family photographs including eight views of a May 24 Parade, a group of people in front of St. Andrew's Manse, a group of people, including Thelma Harwood, in front of an unidentified building and a view of ships arriving at Newcastle Island.
