The fonds consist of a wide spectrum of documents that relate to the reconstruction of Vansittart Avenue and the formation, and subsequent activities of, the Vansittart Area Association Inc. Records range from the local, provincial and national level and include such topics as the road width, provincial government subsidy, street parking and lighting, tree preservation along the street and flower planting in the boulevard in Vansittart Park. The fonds also touches on the Association’s input into the possibility of a truck by-pass in Woodstock, the creation of the Oxford County Official Plan (specifically the section on historical buildings and sites), the selling of St. Joseph’s Academy building on Vansittart Avenue to Timard Properties, train noise within city limits, and the condition of 53 Vansittart Avenue. Materials included within the fonds include correspondence, newspaper clippings, agendas, and reports as well as maps and drawings.

This fonds consists mainly of legal documents and correspondence pertaining to William M. Connell's career as a justice of the peace. Legal documents contain deeds, notice of mortgages, marriage bonds, court cases, and agreements. There are land grants owned by William M. Connell including information on the name of the county and parish, acreage, lot number, and date of registration. Correspondence includes contacts with business associates and family members.

This fonds consists of: Correspondence with Dr. William F. Ganong, A.R. Hay, Victor R. Paltsits, Tappan Adney, Samuel Leonard Tilley, J. Vroom. Notes re Acadia, Loyalists, New Brunswick settlements, Elias Hardy, Dr. Peter Huggeford, Dr. John Caleff, William Fisher, Charles Rainsford; Manuscript copies of "Old Times in New Brunswick"; Religious material including transcriptions of: the Parish register Aukpaque (Aucpaque) kept by Charles Francois Bailly, 1767-1768; letters of Rev. L. Claire; register of baptisms kept by Rev. John Beardsley on a missionary tour between Maugerville and Woodstock, 1789; There are also letters from Bishop Medley and his wife Margaret and notes on St. John's Church (Stone) and Rev. N.A. Coster.

This collection consists of 4 microfilms of W. O. Raymond's scrapbooks containing copies of his writings clipped from newspapers (1884-1916). There is also a photocopy of another 289 page scrapbook created by Raymond from clippings from the Woodstock " Dispatch", 1894-1896 and the Saint John "Telegraph" ca. 1897. The original, which is in the L.P, Fisher Public Library in Woodstock, had become fragile and difficult to read. R.W. Hales made a photocopy and reproduced the most illegible clippings, adding an index and table of contents.

Also included is a photocopy of a two volume genealogy of the Raymond family, compiled by Raymond and including information on the Carman, Moore, Hallet, Lamb, Horsfeld Beardsley, Dibblee, Barlow and Jarvis families.

The fonds consists of records related to the business operations of Wood-Mosaic Limited including time sheets, advertisements, and a general history.

The fonds consist of Minute Books (that include newsletters, newspaper clippings, bird censuses, etc) and a couple of Financial Ledgers. A copy of the Club’s Constitution and By-laws and Procedures, dated 7 November 1977, is also included.
