The fonds was donated to the Nova Scotia Archives by the Club in 1984, 1995, 2004, and 2010. Transferred to HRM Archives in 2010 under the terms of the Council of Nova Scotia Archives Provincial Cooperative Acquisition Strategy.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of administrative files including minutes of the board and general meetings, correspondence,financial statements, membership directories and lists, annual reports and committee files. This is complemented by proceedings of district and international conferences, as well as correspondence and reports relating to projects and activies undertaken by the club. The contents of the fonds document the work of the organization and what it has undertaken to respond to its mandate.

Some files had been arranged by the Nova Scotia Archives prior to HRM Archives' arrangement of the fonds; original order on the remainder of the files has been maintained where possible and has been arranged into four series which reflect the major activities of the club over the years.
